Azuda Concreto
2024, Almahue, Cachapoal Valley, Chile
Profile & Story
The grapes, harvested by hand and early, come from historic vineyards planted in 1945. They ferment with native yeasts, without chemical additives, in 5,000-liter concrete tanks.
Tasting Notes
Intense ruby red color. Aromas of strawberries and blackberries. Fresh and round on the palate with vibrant acidity.
Pairing Recommendation
It pairs well with grilled meats, lamb, duck, and pork. Its fresher profile and spicy notes complement Mediterranean cuisine, herb-based preparations, merkén, black pepper, and medium-intensity dishes.
