Stratus, a latin word menaning "klayers", is a captivatinf blend belonging to the Uco Valley. It is a kaleidoscope of distinctiveness, where each layer unravels the ricj narratice of soil, time, and the boundless spirit of terroir. Trivento Stratus comes from three vineyards located in the micro regions of Paraje Altamira at 1.070 masl, Los Chacayes at 1.072 masl and Guatallary at 1.142 masl in the Uco Valley, Mendoza. The vineyards were planted under VSP in poor sandy, stony, and calcareous soil with CO3Ca. Vintage 2022 65% Malbec - 15% Cabernet Sauvignon - 10% Cabernet Franc - 10% Merlot Ageing The Malbec is aged in French oak barrels for 6 months, while the Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon y Merlot, in 600 litre barrels. Then, the final blend is aged for another 12 month in oak
Tasting Notes
Triventos Stratus is a wine with a deep purplish red color thar expresses a combination of berries, black fruits and cassis, floral notres such as violets, black pepper and spices. Elegant, balanced and energetic, it shows great concentration and texture int he palate.
