About the Wine

Our Chardonnay is crafted using native yeast fermentation, allowing for a natural and expressive character to develop. Full malolactic conversion enhances the wine’s texture, creating a smooth and balanced mouthfeel. It is then aged in French oak barrels ranging from 225L to 600L, adding complexity, subtle spice, and depth to the final wine.

Tasting Notes

A brilliant, pale golden hue hints at the wine’s youthful vibrancy and potential for graceful aging. The nose unfolds with delicate notes of yellow flowers, a whisper of oak reminiscent of meringue, and a touch of lemon custard. With aeration, the floral aromatics become more pronounced, complemented by nuances of lychee nut and a subtle thread of saffron. On the palate, a fresh and lively attack seamlessly transitions into a rich, round, and mouth-filling evolution. The acidity is impeccably integrated—present yet never overpowering—allowing layers of almond and fresh pear to emerge. The finish is precise and mineral-driven, building with energy and finesse. While already expressive, this Chardonnay will continue to develop complexity and depth over the next 2–5 years. For optimal enjoyment, avoid serving too cold, and consider decanting in its youth.
