Vignoble du Rêveur was founded by Mathieu Deiss (of the Domaine Marcel Deiss family) and Emmanuelle Milan on inherited vines in Bennwihr, Alsace. Converted to biodynamic farming and Demeter-certified since 2013, the domaine is known for pushing skin-contact "orange wine" techniques on traditional Alsace varieties. Vigne en Rose is a co-macerated blend of Gewürztraminer and Riesling given extended skin contact, producing its half-orange, half-rosé hue.
