Profile & Story

Bravium is rooted in the vision of winemaker Derek Rohlff. Its Chardonnay draws on the Plumis Vineyard, the estate's own planting on the north side of the Russian River near Forestville - a low-lying, fog-cooled site of heritage and Dijon-clone vines.

Tasting Notes

Brilliant medium-gold color, with aromas of honey, pear, apple, pineapple, lemon oil and white flowers framed by judicious vanillin oak. Crisp pineapple and mango flavors evolve into apple pastry on a full-bodied mid-palate, closing on saline minerality.

Pairing Recommendation

Pairs well with oyster po' boys and a corn, bacon and cauliflower chowder.
