Profile & Story
Primarius is made by winemaker Sarah Cabot from fruit sourced across Oregon's excellent growing areas, including the Willamette Valley AVA and its Ribbon Ridge and Yamhill-Carlton sub-appellations. Each release hand-selects the best available fruit to produce wines that are complex in structure and true to their Oregon origin.
Tasting Notes
Aromas of brambly cane berries and bright Bing cherries accented by subtle notes of cinnamon and clove. Lively acidity and a hint of oak sweetness carry the fruit through a round, pleasant mouthfeel, with further depth of Morello cherry and nutmeg on a soft, silky finish.
