Profile & Story

Ca' Montanari, the family estate behind the Opera label, has been certified organic since 2005 and is a benchmark producer for high-quality Lambrusco in Emilia-Romagna. Modeled after Grower Champagne, the wines undergo a much longer secondary fermentation (around six months) than typical Lambrusco for added finesse. Opera 02 Demi-Sec is a blend of Lambrusco Grasparossa and Lambrusco Salamino.

Tasting Notes

Deep ruby-violet color with a lively mousse; aromas of black cherry and wild berries lead to a fresh, fruity, off-dry palate balanced by soft tannins.
