Profile & Story

Coppo has been producing wine in Canelli, Piedmont since 1892 and is one of Italy's oldest family-run wineries; its historic underground cellars (“infernot”) were recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2014. The estate farms vineyards across Canelli, Gavi, Agliano Terme, Castelnuovo Calcea and the Langhe using organic and biodynamic practices under a low-impact integrated-agriculture protocol followed since 2001. This Langhe DOC Nebbiolo shows the grape in a more approachable, earlier-drinking style than Coppo's Barolo.
