Domäne Wachau is Austria's leading estate for organically farmed vines, with over 160 hectares under organic cultivation in the Wachau along the Danube; Grüner Veltliner accounts for 55% of the estate's plantings. The entry-level “Gustav” bottling is hand-harvested from ten-year-old vines on primary-rock soils, fermented with natural yeast in temperature-controlled stainless steel after gentle pressing and overnight sedimentation.
