Grochau Cellars was founded in 2002 by Portland native John Grochau, who worked at Erath Winery and Brick House before starting his own small-production, minimal-intervention label sourcing sustainably and organically farmed fruit from the Willamette Valley. The “Etheric” Pinot Noir uses a mix of concrete and stainless-steel fermentation and aging, native-yeast fermentation and no fining or filtration.
