Profile & Story
Kumusha Wines was founded in 2017 by Tinashe Nyamoduka, one of South Africa's leading sommeliers; “Kumusha” means “your home/your roots” in the Shona language of Zimbabwe. The experimental Wild Mutupo series showcases unconventional South African wines. This pét-nat blends Chenin Blanc and Colombard from Western Cape (Paarl) vineyards, naturally fermented and bottled for a second fermentation in bottle with no dosage.
Tasting Notes
Hazy pale gold with a fine, rustic mousse; orchard fruit and citrus aromas lead to a tangy, textured, refreshing palate typical of pétillant-naturel winemaking.
