Profile & Story
Milenrama is a small Rioja project run by winemaking sisters Ruth and Ana de Andrés, sourcing old bush vines from the Sierra de Yerga in Rioja Oriental. This wine is made from 100% Tempranillo Blanco, a rare white mutation of the red Tempranillo grape; the fruit is fermented in stainless steel before resting a year in a mix of new and second-use French oak barrels.
Tasting Notes
Straw-gold in color with aromas of stone fruit and citrus underscored by a light toasty oak note from barrel aging; a fresh, textured palate with good acidity.
