Sombras del Sol (“Shadow of the Sun”) is hand-crafted from the Santa Rosa estate in Chile's Maule Valley, a property dating to the 1950s, with single-vineyard fruit farmed near the Maule river's alluvial, clay-and-pebble soils.

Tasting Notes

Deep crimson color with berry, red-fruit, spice, smoke and earth notes typical of Chilean Carménère; medium-bodied with gentle tannins.
