Turley Wine Cellars was founded in Napa Valley in 1993 by former emergency-room physician Larry Turley and is now guided by winemaker Tegan Passalacqua, farming over 50 old-vine vineyards across California focused on Zinfandel and Petite Syrah. “Juvenile” is composed of younger vines (roughly 6–25 years old) replanted within several of Turley's historic old-vine sites, tagged and picked separately to capture a brighter, more youthful expression of Zinfandel; aged about 12 months, mostly in neutral oak.
