About the Wine
A blend of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syrah, made exclusively from three of our “heavy hitters” – 50% Cabernet Franc from Martian Ranch Vineyard in Santa Barbara County, 27% Hermitage-Clone Syrah from the Michaud Vineyard, and 23% Old Vine Cabernet Sauvignon from the Brecon Estate Vineyard. Because giving back is a huge part of our business, we will continue to donate $15 per bottle to our favorite local charities. Due to the charitable nature of this special wine, there are no discounts off the bottle price as we want to donate as much as possible to each of the charities we will be working with throughout the year. We hope you understand this and will help us in our charitable quest.
Tasting Notes
A beautiful blood red color leads to aromas of blueberry, cigar humidor, and bell pepper; followed in the mouth by tart cherry, blackberry, tobacco, and Jolly Rancher Candy; finishing with warm velvety tannins on the lingering finish.
Pairing Notes
Pairs well with Lasagna, Filet Mignon, carne asada chorizo, pork chops, or just a glass by the fire (maybe with some dark chocolate).
