RouteStock is a Wilson Daniels label built on sourcing from a small set of well-placed vineyard partners along Napa and Sonoma's wine routes; the winemaking approach favors minimal intervention, native-yeast fermentation and natural malolactic conversion. This Pinot Noir is in its third vintage from the Sonoma Coast; the 2023 blend is built around RouteStock's estate Moon Dust Vineyard in the Sebastopol Hills (11 acres of 16-year-old vines across six clones), augmented by two dedicated grower sites. Each vineyard lot is fermented with ambient yeast in open-top fermenters (10% whole cluster), goes through natural malolactic, and is aged 9 months in French oak (88% neutral, 12% new) on its gross lees without racking; alcohol is 13.4%.
