Weingut Petri is a family estate in Herxheim am Berg, in Germany's Pfalz region, now in its 12th generation; the family's ancestors arrived from Tyrol as wood coopers in 1655. The estate farms 15 hectares across the Himmelreich and Honigsack (Herxheim) and Saumagen (Kallstadt) vineyards, planted primarily to Riesling alongside Burgundy varieties. This bottling is a dry (Trocken) Riesling from the Kallstadter Saumagen vineyard.
