Profile & Story
Podere Giardino is a small organic farm in Reggio Emilia run by the Crotti family, who devote only a fraction of their land to vines. Suoli Cataldi is their Lambrusco Reggiano, a blend of Lambrusco Marani, Salamino, Oliva and Maestri grown on the sandy clay ('Cataldi') soils that give the wine its name, fermented dry using the Charmat method.
Tasting Notes
Vivid ruby red with a fine, lively mousse; aromas of sour cherry, cola and dried flowers lead to a dry, savory palate of sour plum with a touch of spice.
