Domaine des Tourelles, founded in 1868 by French adventurer Francois-Eugene Brun, is one of the oldest and most acclaimed wineries in Lebanon's Bekaa Valley, farming roughly 50 hectares at over 1,000m altitude in the western Bekaa. Vieilles Vignes Merweh & Obeidi blends two indigenous grapes likely tracing back to Phoenician-era viticulture: century-old Merweh vines and fifty-year-old Obeidi vines, each wild-fermented separately in concrete tanks at low temperature to preserve freshness, then blended and briefly stabilized in stainless steel before bottling. About 11% ABV.
