Benanti Viticoltori, Etna (Sicily). Etna Rosato is 100% Nerello Mascalese from the southeastern slope at 500-700 m on mineral-rich volcanic sandy soils, vines ~25 years old; hand-harvested early October, 12-hour cold maceration, soft-pressed to 65% free-run juice, fermented ~10 days in stainless with indigenous yeast, then 2-3 months in bottle.
Tasting Notes
Pink/salmon; intense, delicate, floral aromatics with hints of broom, blackberry and cherry; dry, fresh, saline and mineral with light tannins and persistent red fruit.

Cold cuts, fresh cheeses, vegetables, white meats, fish and shellfish.
