Domaine Stephane & Benedicte Tissot, a 32-ha biodynamic estate in Arbois (Jura); minimal SO2, natural yeasts. Macvin du Jura Blanc is a mistelle - grape must (savagnin, trousseau and chardonnay) fortified with Marc du Jura and aged about four years in cool cellars. ~17% alc.

Tasting Notes

Intense, deep yet elegant; fleshy, nutty core layered with yellow apple, nectarine, quince and apricot, and caramel, toffee and mocha with a pickled-walnut note on the finish.

Pairing Recommendation

Rich cheeses such as Tomme de Savoie, or Christmas pudding.
