Caparsa (Paolo Cianferoni), a certified-organic estate in Radda in Chianti at ~450 m; 60% of the property is forest. Sangiovese on Alberese, Galestro, clay and sand; spontaneous indigenous-yeast fermentation in cement and about two years' aging in cement vats.
Tasting Notes
Uplifting, pure red fruit; delicate and light on the palate with a fine tannic edge and mineral, classic Chianti character.
