Les Heritiers du Comte Lafon (Dominique Lafon in the Maconnais). 'Clos de la Crochette' is Chardonnay from a 2.6 ha walled vineyard planted 1987 in the commune of Chardonnay - south-facing at ~200 m on light clay with limestone scree over limestone bedrock; certified organic/biodynamic. Indigenous-yeast fermentation, two-thirds in oval oak casks (45-48 hL) and one-third in demi-muids, aged 7-8 months on fine lees.
