Profile & Story
Alexandrea White Cuvée 2023 is an elegant blend of 65% Chardonnay and 35% Voskehat, sourced from two remarkable Armenian terroirs: Proshyan in Kotayk and Aghavnadzor in Vayots Dzor. The vineyards express a unique harmony of soils — Clay and sandy loam with alluvial traces in Proshyan, and volcanic, sand- and gravel-rich soils in Aghavnadzor — contributing to this cuvée’s lively character and refined aroma profile. Hand-picked in mid-September to early October, the grapes were fermented in stainless steel to preserve purity and freshness. The 2023 vintage reveals a bright, clean expression of Armenian highland winemaking, finishing at 13.5% alcohol.
Tasting Notes
The 2023 White Cuvée reveals an expressive nose of sun-kissed yellow fruits, fragrant blossoms, and gentle herbal nuances. On the palate, it unfolds with crisp green apple, pear, and delicate floral undertones, supported by vibrant acidity and a graceful mineral touch. The finish is long, pure, and refreshing, showcasing the harmony of Chardonnay and Voskehat grown in Armenia’s highland vineyards.
