Domaine Michel Girard, farmed by the Girard family about 4 km from the village of Sancerre, has been in organic conversion since 2023, working the soils mechanically to protect the region's biodiversity and the expression of its terroirs. This white cuvée, 'Blanc Les 3 Terroirs,' is 100% Sauvignon Blanc and is an assemblage of Sancerre's three classic soil types — 40% Silex (flint), 40% Caillottes (chalky limestone) and 20% Argilo-Calcaire (clay-limestone) — aged in tank on fine lees.
Tasting Notes
The nose shows notes of yellow fruit and citrus, with aromas that evolve on the palate toward citrus and exotic fruit.
Pairing Recommendation
Ideal as an apéritif, with white fish, or with goat cheese.
