Château Moncontour is a historic château built under Charles VII in the 15th century, perched above the Loire in the heart of Vouvray; the Feray family (Vignobles Feray) has worked the roughly 130-hectare estate across the Vouvray, Crémant de Loire and Touraine appellations since 1994. The Demi-Sec is made from Chenin Blanc grown on the estate's Vouvray slopes.
Tasting Notes
An off-dry Chenin Blanc with honeyed orchard-fruit and quince notes balanced by the variety's characteristic bright acidity.
