Profile & Story

Domaine Léon Boesch has farmed in the village of Westhalten, in Alsace's Vallée Noble, since 1640 across eleven generations; the estate is Demeter-certified biodynamic. La Cabane — named for the small stone shelters built into the vineyards — is a blend of roughly 70% Pinot Auxerrois and 30% Pinot Blanc grown on sandstone and clay soils.

Tasting Notes

Zesty citrus and a hint of ginger on the nose, opening to hyacinth, candied lemon, mint, bergamot and pear, with a granitic mineral streak on the palate.
