Pierre & Antonin was founded by childhood friends Pierre Caizergues and Antonin Bonnet, who reconnected over a bottle of wine in New York's East Village in 2010. Pierre began making wine in Montréal-d'Aude (Languedoc) in 2015; the pair launched their joint label in 2020 and in 2022 took over the family estate Domaine de Stricou in the Malepère massif west of Carcassonne, planting the first six hectares of organically farmed vines. They work exclusively with fungus-resistant PIWI grape varieties (Souvignier Gris, Cabernet Cortis, Artaban) with zero additives and zero added sulfur. Nature's Revenge is a 100% Grenache pét-nat rosé, bottled during fermentation by the ancestral method so the wine's own CO2 creates its gentle sparkle.
