Villa Corniole farms in the Cembra Valley and Piana Rotaliana of Trentino, within the high-elevation Vigneti delle Dolomiti. Their Ramato-style Pinot Grigio ("Pietramontis") is made from 100% Pinot Grigio hand-harvested in September and given extended skin contact in the traditional coppery ("ramato") style once typical of the region before modern Pinot Grigio production shifted to fully pressed whites.
Tasting Notes
Coppery-orange in color; aromas that speak of the mountain terroir, with structure, finesse and mineral tension on the palate — a traditional, textural expression of Pinot Grigio.
