Profile & Story
The Alain Pautré estate is a third-generation grower based in Lignorelles, on the northwestern edge of the Chablis appellation, farming 30-40 year-old vines on a calciferous plateau with a south-facing orientation. Since 2005 the domaine has been run in partnership with Jean-Marc Brocard, continuing production of terroir-driven, traditionally styled Chablis.
Tasting Notes
A precise, classically styled Chablis with citrus and green-apple fruit, chalky, flinty minerality and the appellation's characteristic bright acidity.
