Château Moncontour is a historic château built under Charles VII in the 15th century, perched above the Loire in the heart of Vouvray; the Feray family (Vignobles Feray) has worked the roughly 130-hectare estate across the Vouvray, Crémant de Loire and Touraine appellations since 1994. This Crémant de Loire is a traditional-method sparkling blend of Chenin Blanc and Chardonnay, hand-harvested and aged on lees before disgorgement.
