Domaine Grosbois farms the Chinon appellation from Panzoult, on the right bank of the Vienne, working from a fifteenth-century fortified farm; brothers Nicolas and Sylvain Grosbois, who took over in 2008, farm the estate's roughly 20 hectares biodynamically (Demeter-certified) and, since 2020, make their wines by the 'Vins Méthode Nature', relying on indigenous yeasts and minimal sulfur. Extra Ball is one of the domaine's single-terroir Cabernet Franc cuvées.
