Famille Perrin, the family behind Château de Beaucastel in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, farms around 60 hectares in a single plot in Vinsobres — the northernmost appellation of the Southern Rhône — at an average altitude of 300 meters. Les Cornuds blends Syrah, vinified in large oak foudres, with Grenache, vinified in stainless steel, each variety sorted, destemmed and vatted separately.
