Profile & Story
Johanna Markowitsch is the daughter of grower Gerhard Markowitsch and makes wine under her own JoMa label in Göttlesbrunn, in Austria's Carnuntum region. Spektakel blends 90% Grüner Veltliner and 10% Muskateller from sandy loess soils, given 15 days of skin contact with spontaneous fermentation in open vats and no fining or filtration.

A textured orange wine with apple, apricot, herb and orange-blossom aromatics and a crushed-gravel mineral edge.
