Saracina Vineyards is a 400-acre estate in Hopland, Mendocino County, certified California Sustainable (CSWA). The estate-grown Chardonnay comes from 40-year-old Clone 4 vines planted on alluvial soils deposited by the Russian River, whole-cluster pressed and fermented entirely in stainless steel with malolactic fermentation inhibited.
Tasting Notes
An unoaked, zesty Chardonnay with Bosc pear, white-flower and snappy sweet-pea aromatics, and bright stone-fruit and citrus flavors on the palate.
