Pierre Bannwarth, working alongside his father Stephane at the family's organic, Demeter-certified estate in Obermorschwihr, joined the Les Vins Pirouettes natural-wine collective in 2022. This cuvee is 100% Gewurztraminer, hand-harvested and carbonically macerated for 14 days in stainless steel before pressing to foudre and steel tank for 9 months' elevage, bottled unfined and unfiltered with no added SO2.
Tasting Notes
The skin contact shows in texture, while the aromatics stay pure Gewurztraminer: candied ginger, orange blossom honey, and spiced tea.
