Kyklos is the export range of Ktima Voyatzi (Voyatzis Estate), a family winery founded in the early 1990s by Harissis Voyatzis and his sons Yannis (Bordeaux-trained oenologist) and Nico, on a 100-acre lakeside vineyard beside Lake Polyfytos in Velvento, Western Macedonia. The Kyklos ('circle') range sources fruit from Greece's classic appellations for each variety — this bottling is built on Agiorgitiko, Greece's most widely planted red grape.
Tasting Notes
Ruby red in color, with a fragrant nose of red cherry, red currant, and raspberry accented by vanilla and cinnamon baking-spice notes; soft, round tannins and a food-friendly, fruit-forward finish.
