Val St. Pierre is produced and bottled by Les Celliers Jean d'Alibert, named for the Abbot Jean d'Alibert appointed to Caunes-Minervois by King Henri IV in 1598 — an early entrepreneurial figure in the region who helped bring Minervois marble and wine to global markets, a legacy the estate continues by exporting its terroir worldwide. This rosé is sourced from selected vineyards around Carcassonne and the Minervois; grapes are harvested at full ripeness, cold-macerated before pressing, and aged roughly three months before bottling.
