About the Wine
In the heart of the Piemonte region lies the small area of Barolo. The KING of Italian wines, here the grape is Nebbiolo, and after 18 months in oak, and several more years of bottle ageing, this wine has earned that title! You get a multilayered experience of red and black cherries, black pepper, cedar, olive, truffle, harmonic citrus notes, and depth, length, and breadth you may never have tasted in wine before. Enhance it with spicy ham, duck breast, or osso bucco, or five more years in a cool, dark place.
Tasting Notes
A mind-blowingly inexpensive Barolo that offers all the hallmarks of the legendary village. Wonderfully structured, with firm tannins, wild black fruits, notes of cedar, cigar box and violets leading into a long, intense yet graceful finish.
