Domaine de Rochebin was founded in 1921 and has been farmed by the Marillier family ever since, working over 50 hectares in the heart of the Maconnais at Aze, in southern Burgundy, under sustainable ('lutte raisonnee') viticulture.
Tasting Notes
Purple in color, with aromas of red and black fruit -- strawberry, cherry, blackcurrant, blueberry -- evolving toward cooked prune and peppery nuances; structured and round on the palate, with tannins and fruit in good balance.
