La Camensarde is a collaborative negociant project among growers in the village of Bue, Sancerre, who joined forces to craft a classic expression of Sancerre blanc alongside an IGP Loire Sauvignon Blanc. Bue lies a few minutes from Sancerre itself, on the Loire's left bank, near famous growers such as Jean-Max Roger, Lucien Crochet, Morin, and Pinard.
Tasting Notes
Exotic notes of citrus and passion fruit open the nose, joined with air by ginger and lime and a mineral, smoky gunflint complexity; the attack is vivacious and tense, finishing long, well-rounded and balanced.
