La Camensarde is a collaborative negociant project among growers in the village of Bue, just southwest of Sancerre on the Loire's left bank -- home to some of the appellation's best-known names, including Jean-Max Roger, Lucien Crochet, Morin, and Pinard. Alongside their Sancerre, the group crafts this IGP Val de Loire Sauvignon Blanc.
Tasting Notes
Yellow with golden highlights, lively and full of fruit, with mineral and citrus aromas of acacia, jasmine, and citrus fruits; vivacious on the palate, rounding into a rich, well-balanced finish.
