Saints Hills Winery is the project of husband-and-wife team Ernest and Ivana Tolj, with vineyards spanning Istria and the Peljesac peninsula in Dalmatia, near Dubrovnik. Plavac Mali, Croatia's most widely planted indigenous red variety, anchors the estate's range, from their entry St. Roko bottling sourced from the young vineyards of Komarna to their flagship Dingac.
Tasting Notes
St. Roko is dark ruby with aromas of plums and cherries alongside wild Dalmatian herbs and vanilla; dry and food-friendly, with fresh acidity and approachable tannins from aging in French oak barriques and concrete tanks.
