Profile & Story
Salcheto is an organically farmed estate of over 60 hectares near Montepulciano, Tuscany, founded in 1984. The Biskero Chianti is a blend of Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Mammolo and Merlot, hand-harvested and fermented with native yeasts and no added sulphites, aged briefly (30% in tonneaux) so the Sangiovese fruit stays forward.
Tasting Notes
Pure red cherry and plum character with a delicately spiced finish; smooth, ripe and fresh.
