Catena Malbec blends fruit from three high-altitude Mendoza vineyards — Gualtallary (4,757 ft), Lunlunta (3,018 ft), and El Cepillo/Eugenio Bustos (3,593 ft) — on alluvial soils of gravel, limestone, and loamy clay. The wine undergoes a five-day cold maceration at 50°F, ferments with wild yeasts over 10–16 days, and ages 11–13 months in first-, second-, and third-use French oak. 13.5% ABV.
