The Reverdy family has grown grapes in Verdigny, a commune of Sancerre in the eastern Loire, since as far back as the 1600s. Domaine Hippolyte Reverdy remains a small, family-run estate today managed by Michel Reverdy, farming 14 hectares — 11 planted to Sauvignon Blanc and 3 to Pinot Noir — with a largely organic, low-intervention approach focused on soil health and vine balance.
