Profile & Story
Paşaeli is a family-owned Turkish wine estate founded in 2000 by Seyit Karagözoğlu near İzmir on Turkey's Aegean coast, built around reviving indigenous grape varieties that were at risk of disappearing from Anatolian vineyards. The Chilled House Red is a blend of 60% Karasakız, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 10% Çalkarası, with each variety sourced from its own terroir and fermented using native yeast.
Tasting Notes
Medium-bodied with notes of red fruit, baking spices, and cherries, framed by subtle tannins on the finish. Best enjoyed served slightly chilled.
