Umani Ronchi's Podere Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC is 100% Montepulciano, sourced primarily from vineyards in the Chieti and Teramo provinces. The grapes macerate for up to 10 days in steel before alcoholic and malolactic fermentation, and the wine matures in steel for about four months before a brief period in bottle prior to release — a style built to highlight the variety's freshness and character.
