Cantina Kurtatsch (Kellerei Kurtatsch) is Alto Adige's southernmost winegrowers' cooperative, based in Cortaccia along the Alto Adige Wine Road, led since 2014 by president Andreas Kofler with a focus on sustainable, terroir-driven winemaking. Lagrein, the region's oldest autochthonous variety and a genetic relative of Syrah, thrives in the warm sites of southern Alto Adige; reduced yields and aging in large oak botti give this bottling its depth and structure.
