Vini Pennisi is a family-run winery in Castiglione di Sicilia, on the northern slopes of Mount Etna, farming for over 150 years across generations on the mountain's volcanic, mineral-rich soils. Etneide Etna Rosso is made from Nerello Mascalese grown on these high-elevation volcanic vineyards.
Tasting Notes
Ruby red leaning toward garnet in color, with fruity notes of blackberry and redcurrant, spice such as black pepper and vanilla, and a mineral edge; the palate shows fresh acidity and Etna's characteristic tannins, softening into a warm, structured finish.
